Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ViralReels ("the Service"), available at viralreels.app. By creating an account or using the Service — including the free Local Studio — you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

ViralReels turns your photos and videos into short-form reels synced to music. It has two modes:

• Local Studio — runs entirely in your browser on your device. No account required; your media is never uploaded.
• Cloud editor — requires an account. Your media is uploaded, processed on our servers, and stored in the AWS Mumbai region (ap-south-1) until you delete it.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

• You own your content. Photos, videos, audio you upload, and the reels generated from them remain yours.
• You grant us a limited licence to store and process your uploaded media solely to provide the Service (analysis, editing, rendering, delivery). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
• We do not use your media to train AI models and we do not sell it.

You must have the rights to any music or audio you upload or use in your reels. ViralReels does not grant you any music licence. Publishing a reel with music you are not licensed to use may violate copyright law and the rules of the platform you publish to (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). You are solely responsible for claims arising from audio in your reels, and you agree to indemnify us against such claims.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• upload or create content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful, including content depicting minors inappropriately or non-consensual imagery;
• violate any person's privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights;
• attempt to breach, probe, or overload our systems, or resell the Service without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

• The Free plan has usage limits (reels per month, export quality, watermark). Paid plans lift these limits as described on the pricing page.
• INR payments are processed by Razorpay and grant 30 days of the purchased plan. USD payments are recurring monthly subscriptions processed by Stripe, cancellable any time effective at the end of the billing period.
• Prices may change; existing paid periods are never repriced retroactively. Refunds are handled case-by-case — contact hello@viralreels.app. [Refund policy to be finalised with counsel.]

You can delete your account at any time. Deletion permanently removes your media, projects, and personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Deletion does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of a paid period unless required by law.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content you create and choose to publish.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city to be confirmed with counsel], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
